Thanks, Pat. I hear they are pretty decent for being a Little Giant type.
Just got an e-mail from amazon saying they are having a 50% off sale on Werner ladders
Looks like the 22 ft articulating is $170 with free shipping. Hope that helps someone
Thanks, Pat. I hear they are pretty decent for being a Little Giant type.
I don't use them , but if you are working out of a small vehicle, it's a heck of a lot less expensive than 4 pieces of sectional . I've seen the 13 and 17ft ones at Lowes, they look very usable
I used the Werner articulating almost exclusively last year. It is a great ladder. It's been really helpful in a number of spots.
The only cons: attaching levelers or stand offs is kind of a drag sometimes. And putting it up and down (especially inside homes) can sometimes be a chore.
But it was a great multi purpose ladder to get me up and going.
Hi,
Thanks for the news on the ladders. I have been borrowing a ladder and need to buy on. I do mostly 1 & 2 story residential homes. Would everybody suggest buying a Werner ladder and what size, or should I buy a sectional ladder.
I just bought one of the articulating ladders, and I absolutely love it! It certianly takes up just a little less space in the vehicle than the sectional(I have a 22'), and its much cheeper in price. I can imagine the functional difference between the two being a matter of opinion for everybody, but having used a sectional for a while when I first started out and now using the werner, I'd prefer the werner. I feel like its easier to break down and put up, and easier to move around the home than the sectional. Also when working on uneven ground, or inside around stairs, theres a feature in the A-frame position where you can make both sides different lengths, a feature I wished I had with the sectional.
