Oil-Flo and a scraper and maybe a second application using a white pad.

Do not use titan-oil-flo.html">Oil Flo. I repeat, do not use oil Flo. Unless you're ready for a huge mess. I've been removing tint the last 3 days. I've tried all different methods. The oil Flo will break down the glue and make it a sticky rediculous mess all over the floor and frames. Best method - soapy water and a 6" scraper. It removes the glue and still makes it where you can pick up the big scrapes chunks with your fingers. I've mixed up really soapy ecover solution and water in a pump sprayer and have been using that to spray the window down.
Good luck. Hope I finish my tint removal today.

How much Oil-Flo did you use? I use it sparingly to loosen the glue. Yes it's messy (not horrible if you don't use to much product) but since I tape off the lower frame and put down a tarp I don't have much clean up there. I also use an old plastic container (think milk jug) to put the gunk in as I scrape it off the window.

use a 6 " scraper to get the bulk off hopefully it will all come off.... if it ....dont when ever confronted with silicone or hard stuff that wont budge with a 6"....... reduce your scraper width size . the smaller ( narrower ) the scraper the more effective it becomes.. so for really awkward stuff try a 1" with a new blade and preferably one that locks . not the Ettore 1 " scraper... that does not lock ( maybe they have one that locks but mine does not ) and keep changing the blade when needed... also if the glue is sticking to the blade ??? get your self some nail varnish remover and use 2 or 3 scrapers. while your using one scraper the other two are soaking in small container containing nail varnish remover ( acetone ) just rotate if needed.. and obviously you use hot water and soap

I have the 4" Unger Ergotec scraper for cases like that. Great sturdy product.

Use extremely soapy water (dish soap) when taking the film off. Also, use the heavy duty blades made by jbf-scrapers.html">Triumph. The regular blades will break to often and keep you replacing blades every 15 minutes. Put a new blade in frequently as this will keep your sanity. And lastly, make the customer realize that this is not an easy job! It takes time, time and more time. Charge accordingly! Good luck!
