I've been eyeing Tiger Paws but haven't bought them. Please, what brand are you showing us?
I finally trashed my old pair of boots and decided to get some serious window cleaning footwear. I got these thoroughood roofer boots a few days ago. Their crepe soles stick to the roof like duct tape. They have reinforced sides, plus they lace all the way to the toes which helps you get them nice a snug so you don't roll your ankle.
Dangerous Dave turned me onto these style of boots. He's got the mocassain toes, though. I have had bad experience with the mocassain toes, they just aren't comfortable in my experience.
Anybody else out there use roofing boots for window cleaning?
I think you mean "cougar paws." Those look cool, but they seem like they are only good for when you are on the roof. I hear the pads wear out kind of quickly - you wouldn't want to walk around on them off the roof because it will wear out the pads and they are expensive. The boots above are Thorogood Roofer Boots Style: 814-4233
What are these called ? What did they cost you ? Where did you get them ?
They look like some pretty good shoes for walking roves... How you been Jess ? is business picking up in the fast lane ?
I've been using "Korker" sandals with a removable sole. It has a variety of soles for different roof types. Asphalt, metal & wood shingle roofs. They slip over the shoe/sneaker and they work real good.
Need to git me summa them...

You are wearing boots in this heat?? Please do not tell me you wear knee socks. I wear Keen sandals, a slip resistant sole with a rubber toe. Good support, water proof and last forever. They make a winter version.
