    Default Changing the Di Tanks

    Rain Flow
Okay a few weeks back I changed out the Di Tank in my system. After starting to use it for about an hour I heard this KABOOM!

Well after calling Sean Gavin at Reach Higher Ground, he explained to me that it was pressure built up in the system because I had an air pocket trapped in the system when I dropped the cylinder inside. Well one of the gaskets blew out and I couldn't find it. Thanks to Sean and his quick customer care at Reach Higher Ground, he sent me a replacement for free, along with those little white rings that go on top.

Just to continue with this quick commercial - he stands behind his products and he backs up his products from what I can see.

Anyway on to an actual question...it was a couple of weeks ago and I haven't had to use it since. He told me how to get the air pocket out but for the life of me can't remember what he said. I think it's just as simple as letting the water run through the system.

Is that it? Just run water through the system to get the air pocket out?

I can't have a repeat of what happened last time I used the system. I think I scared the crap out of that neighborhood

anyway here's the system I have

    Hey paul.

    Do the following.

Turn water on to the system. Let the water run through the machine with the waste valve open(counter clockwise). Open the valve on the end of your hose that is on your hose reel.

Let the water run through the system until water comes out of the hose on the reel. Once this is done, you can be sure that the air pocket filled with water and it will once again be ready to turn the power on.
