I'm not a window guy but allot depends on how you present yourself to the manager
I dont have any store fronts and can only do low rise at this point in the game. How do you go about getting accounts without being discouraged? Do you map out an area and target that area or just randomly drive through your city/county? What is the system? I have a hell of a time getting people to even give me the slightest bit of interest in window cleaning and some just look at you like you are out of you mind. I know it can be done but where do you get your leads and how long do you go about it before you just say forget this? Thank you for the feedback I really want to make something work but it's frustrating!

Having a full set of teeth & a decent image is a start. 2nd it sounds like you've been hanging out with bucket bob & the boys.
Store front = Shananigans "$" 1 dolla make you holla!!!!
I found when I was just starting out that the discouragement was easy...Opening that door to get out of the safety of your car to go talk to someone that the more you think about it is going to say no, so why get out in the first place.....Find someone to ride alone with you, a friend, wife, girlfriend, just not girlfriend and wife at the same time...hahahaa...but having someone in the car with you to keep your mind on why you are out in the first place makes you get out and talk to more people if you are having a hard time at it. Its a numbers game, the more you do it the more you get and the more you get used to the NOs.
Exactly.. Dime/Dozen = bucket bob school!!!! Know your area & the value that is propossed?? The writing is on the wall so to speak "$$"
From your post couldn't tell if you are talking about route (strip malls, restaurants, etc.) or buildings. I havelearned that building route is a numbers game like all other sales work. I have a great flyer and a quick visit sales tecnique that has served me well over the years. Happy to share it with you if you want to contact me.

Don't be discouraged. I'm assuming your new to the trade of storefronts and commercial.
You will find yourself fine tuning your approach every time you go at it. I have a number of storefronts and businesses I do every week. I make it a habit of writing at least 5 estimates every time I go out to clean (if I have time). Rain days I will decide how far out I'm driving and write estimates all the way there, then loop back towards home and write them all the way back.
Another thing I have learned is that you may get 20 no's for every 1 yes, but it seems that it is always the ones you least expect to go that want your service. Be creative, change it up. Instead of hitting all of the major stores on the main routes, take a cruise on the back roads, off the main road like industrial areas, cooperate places (insurance buildings, small factories with office buildings) and give it a go. Many of these buildings have all ground level windows and you'd be surprised what results you get with a little bit of preplanning and dedication!
